United by Sport - 10sec IDs

Expanding on the aesthetics and reach of the United by Sport campaign, we created new animated TV IDs that bring together sports and the unexpected.

Working closely with Director Bart Sciana, I produced this 10sec ID featuring a heavily anime-influenced style. Animated by Blirp Studios, this ID is one of several rotating through our TV inventory. This project allowed me to storyboard with a comic book style and pay homage to one of my favourite anime OVAs Giant Robo: The Night the Earth Stood Still while combining it with hockey. The kid mech-controller and robot unite to shut the door on their opponents.
